Sophie's Story

Meet Sophie! This darling little girl and her brother were being given away in a parking lot when they were young puppies. Thankfully, one of our pac fosters spotted them and decided to take them into her home to ensure that they would be properly cared for, vetted and receive lots of love while getting ready to find their forever homes. If she hadn’t come along, who knows where these babies might have ended up!

Sophie is now 7 months old and weighs in at 23 pounds Breed is a best guess, but we think she’s a terrier mix. Whatever her breed – she’s a pretty pup She is crate trained and sleeps in it all night with the door open. She’s a little shy at first, but very loving once she feels safe. She loves to cuddle and enjoys her chew toys. She also thinks digging is great fun.

Sophie is coming along with house training and doesn’t have any inside accidents overnight. During the day, she and her brother spend much of their time outdoors at their foster home, but with a consistent routine and positive reinforcement, this smart, alert pup will have all of her house manners mastered quickly. She does fairly well on a leash, but will need continued help.

Sophie gets along fine with other dogs. She ignores the cat when inside, but when she sees one outside, it’s game on...lol. This loveable girl wants to please and she’ll thrive with a family that has the time to devote to making her the best dog she can be.

Sophie is spayed, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. Her doggy bag is packed and she’s ready to head for his forever home. If you’d like to give this sweet girl her happily ever after, please email Nancy at campellones58@gmail.com for an application. Her adoption fee is $400
