Sophia (Grace)

Sophia <br/><br/>She is a sweet, gentle girl who loves to be with her person. <br/>She is crate trained, cries from her crate when she has to go potty.<br/>She is house trained and will hover/stand by the door if she has to go potty.<br/>She walks well on a leash but is very much about looking to her person for cues. She loves car rides, has done well in Petco, PetSmart, Home Depot as well as livestock feed stores in my area.<br/>She does not really play. This is all still new to her. She has 2 favorite “babies” stuffed animals she has in her crate with her. <br/>Her favorite place to be is curled up on her favorite chair .<br/>Her favorite treat is peanut butter on a spoon.<br/>She gets along great with my cats/kittens, other dogs. She’s been around chickens, sheep, goats, horses, emu and cows. Shes curious but never has barked or chased anything.<br/>She will air snap when others approach her food dish just to let them know she’s not quite finished.<br/>She likes to sit on an outdoor chair I have when it’s nice out and soak up the sun and cool breezes.<br/>She is very dainty and “cautious” when she walks. Taking her time and surveying everything around her. <br/>She’s like a gentle southern belle. Soft spoken, delightful, and dainty.<br/>I’ve heard her bark twice to alert me that something was around she didn’t recognize. Other than that she’s as quiet as a mouse.<br/>She is getting used to pets and love but is still cautious. This will resolve itself once she settles in with her forever person. <br/>I call her a blooming flower . She has a little way to go before she’s fully open to the love and beautiful world around her . <br/>She doesn’t really answer to Sophia. I’ve been calling her Grace. Because despite everything in her past. She walks with gentility and grace into her new world.<br/>
