Soop's Story

Hi, I'm Soop!

I'm a sweet shepherd mix puppy looking for a patient family to call my own! I've had a bit of a rough start, and while we don't know much about my background, I'm still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place.

I can be shy and nervous when meeting new people, but I'm very food motivated and warm up with time, patience, and positive experiences. I absolutely LOVE other dogs and would do best in a home with a confident adult dog who can show me the ropes and help me learn how to be brave and confident.

I'm crate trained and working hard on my potty training! I'm currently living in a foster home with other dogs and cats. I do like to chase the kitties, though, so I would do best in a home without cats. I'm also nervous around children and would be happiest in an adult-only home where I can feel comfortable and build my confidence.

I'm a little bit of a nervous Nelly right now, but I have so much potential! I'm looking for someone who understands that I may need a little extra time to come out of my shell and is willing to give me the patience, consistency, and love I deserve.

Because I'm in a foster home, please contact the shelter before coming to meet me so we can coordinate a visit with my foster family.

Think I might be your girl? Let us know you're interested!
