SOOKIE*'s Story

This little one is doing so much better in foster. Sookie is on some medications to help her with some spinal issues she has had causing her to not be fully in control of her hind end, they are working and she is so much better. Sookie can be a bit shy of strangers and that is what got her in some trouble in the shelter, but in foster she has done great with the other dogs, big and small. There are cats in the foster home but she is doing slow introductions so she doesn’t get overwhelmed. Due to the medications she is on, she is having a hard time with potty training, but we home when she gets to be off the meds one day, she will catch on quicker to house training! Sookie loves walks but we are taking it slow for now. She also loves sleeping in the big bed!
