Sonora's Story

Sonora is a beautiful brown-eyed girl with a huge heart and fantastic smile. She has a gentle, sensitive soul and is eager to please her person. We believe she will be a loyal dog and someone's truly special friend.

Sonora came to us a little bit on the shy side. She just wasn't sure what to make of her new foster family with all the hustle and bustle going on. After just a short time we got a gentle nose touch, a soft ear in our hand looking for a pet, and now she's sleeping on the bed with her foster mom and happily jumping in the car for outings and new adventures.

Sonora is wonderful with other dogs. She shines when she plays. We'd love to see her go to a home with other dogs. She loves splashing (and laying) in water, fetch, toys, and car rides.

We think she would be happies in an adult only home or home with older children.

We believe Sonora is a shepherd mix however your best guess is as good as ours. Her birthday is August 17, 2019. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, and microchipped.

Otherwise, we will set up a time for a meet and greet with you and your family with the pet. 3) During the meet, we want to make sure we answer all of your questions and talk about all the important points of adding this pet to your family. 4) We require home checks with all of our animals. Once you are ready to bring your new pet home, we will set up a time to bring the pet out to your home. In almost all instances the adoption will be final at this time. We will bring all the necessary paperwork, records, and essentials with us to your home visit.
