Sonny is running out of time as he needs to be rehomed next week.<br/>His owner, my uncle passed away Nov 2021. My uncle’s roommate has been caring for him for these last several months.<br/>He’s neutered. There’s a medical history and file, he’s healthy weighing 60 Lbs. He will receive his rabies vaccine before he leaves for a new home. No chip.<br/>Sonny has been with my uncle since about 8/16/2013. When he wasn’t out in the yard, he was at my uncle’s side. He’s house trained. Not the best on leash as he drives the walk, but Sonny was walked 3 times a day when my uncle was well and stronger. He’s shy but doesn’t go after people. Sonny likes his space, and a home with children is probably not a fit. A quiet home, where he can go out in a yard during the day and run, coming into the house at night to sleep. Sonny did become sad after my uncle died but bonded with his roommate. He will most certainly bond with a new owner that cares for him. At one time during Sonny’s life there was another dog, who passed away. It’s been about 4 years since that dog passed. He’s never been around cats. Hoping to find him a home soon. He’s in Southern California and I live in the SF Bay Area. I will transport him to a new home. My girlfriend is in cat rescue and we have our own cats plus 3 foster cats. Yard isn’t fenced.
