Sonny's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

If you would like to take me home please complete a Pet Adoption Application

HOSPICE - Male Hound MixHOSPICE CARE UPDATE: (Jan. 17th, 2026)
Our red hound boy has just been diagnosed with lymphoma as well. His lymph nodes popped out and we got him in yesterday, biopsy results today were positive for lymphoma. Sonny is now going into Hospice care at Camp. We are going to make the last months (unknown how long) just as happy as we are with Pickles. These boys have loving staff that adore them, we always hoped for a home for them, but we will do everything in our power to make the last days their best days. Adoption or Foster possibilities are not feasible as the stress of changing their routines would hurry their lives. The boys have been with us years, it is their home in the Sanctuary area. They both have private rooms with real beds and TVs and private pens and doggie doors. Sonny spends most of the day in his pen barking to “greet” any car or person he sees driving up the driveway, wagging his tail and saying hello. He loves his long walks around our ponds and puppies. Anytime we have puppies on Campus his tail goes in a circle so fast you expect his hind end to lift off the ground. We will get a list of Sonny’s favorite treats and toys so anyone out there can help us make his days more joyful and keep you up to date on both our hospice boys. Thank you for supporting Camp, following our kiddos, helping us when we need you, playing the Treat App, sending our puppers love, helping us save those we can, and sending treats and toys to those we cannot. We appreciate you more than you know. If you would like to make a monetary donation for Sonny our website is www.camppapillon.org

BIO: Male Hound Mix .
