I'd love to be whatever you want me to be! But, in the end, I'm an old dog and all I can do is be proud of who I am and be the best old dog I can be. My name is Sonar, and yes- my ears always look like that. I'm a little cross-eared. I hear in 3D. <br/>I'm ten years old and, naturally, I'm starting to slow down a bit. I'd rather spend my days sunbathing, pottering around in the garden, and watching Call the Midwife than training for triathlons. I'm a very sociable girl and I love making friends, so I'm always up for a bit of interactive people-watching and hanging out with my best human pals. <br/>I was here in the shelter as a youngster, then spent most of my life in a home, but my person passed away, so I came back here. Since my human is busy hanging out with the saints, they weren't available to fill out surrender paperwork, so I can't tell you a lot about my home habits or if I've had much exposure to other dogs, cats, or kids. I'd like to meet any potential dog friends before going home with them anyway, just to see if we're a good match. <br/>Because I'm a senior lady, I'm eligible for the Seniors-4-Seniors program, which means that if someone over 65 adopts me, my adoption fee is waived and routine vet care for the rest of my life is covered at the shelter at no cost to the adopter. I take thyroid meds, which I'll need for the rest of my life, but I'm otherwise in pretty good shape! <br/>I plan on making the rest of my life happy and filled with love, and part of that is spending it with someone like you!
