Solo's Story

Cute, adorable, and ever so loving and happy, Solo is a year old GSD mix that was found dumped in Linden. He was saved by a kind Samaritan who took him home. She initially thought she had found a possible home with one of her co-workers but this gal could not keep him until the family returned from vacation. Another co-worker named Rasheeda offered to temporarily foster Solo until the family could take him. Unfortunately, when the family returned, they had changed their mind and decided not to adopt him so Rasheeda ended up with Solo. She didn't have many other options so she called Golden State. Solo is currently being fostered with a family that includes a large four-legged sibling. He is also very comfortable with people of all ages, absolutely ADORES kids, and is good with kitties. He is housebroken, crate trained, and loves to play fetch. He also walks well on a leash. Solo would make a wonderful family dog or a fun companion for an active single person or couple.
