The adoption process begins with the application to ensure we're matching the right dog with your home and lifestyle. Following the application, pictures and videos are exchanged and phone conversations take place to ensure a good fit and address any questions. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: Out of state adoptions are encouraged to aid in the pet overpopulation problem in Texas leading to healthy, adoptable dogs being euthanized due to lack of space in shelters. The adoption fee is $250. This includes the cost of transport, a health certificate, and helps to offset costs for medical care which includes vaccinations, spaying/neutering. ADOPTIONS IN SAN ANTONIO & SURROUNDING AREAS: We're happy to provide additional pictures and videos and coordinate in person visit(s). The local adoption fee is negotiable.
