DOB: Aug 28/2025<br/><br/>My name is Solar. I am smaller right now but boy am I a survivor and so brave. I was found stuffed in a box and left at the side of a road. Thank goodness some kids found me and got me to safety. With all I have been thru, I am fearless, love people and now I am so happy as I found out what love really is. My mom tells me I am the bestest boy as I am well behaved in the house and settle nicely. I am working on my potty training and am doing amazing. I don't go to the door yet, but mom takes me outside regularly and I know exactly what to do. She does the happy dance and gives me lots of snuggles so I must be doing really good! I sleep in my crate thru the night and sometimes like to hang in my crate during the day, but I usually just snuggle on my dog bed or on a lap. <br/><br/>Being a typical puppy, I tend to get a bit nippy, so this is something I am working on. I haven't been on a leash outside my yard yet so can't wait to start to explore the world. I love to play fetch as I love to run. It is my favorite game. I am so fast that I have my toy back for another toss very quickly. Who knew my little legs could go that fast! <br/><br/>So far I have been so brave with almost everything. I have met lots of people and love them all. I have met a few dogs, and it didn't take me long to run and play with them. I have short legs but man can I run fast and fly up the stairs on the deck. Who knew my little legs could make me fly up those stairs! And the vacuum, mop and broom are fun to chase. Well, I think so but not so sure my foster mom thinks that is the game of chase and fetch she has been teaching me. But it is fun, so it works for me!<br/><br/>I think I will be a great camper and hiker and I bet I am going to be good at agility as I know I will win a lot of races because I am a speed demon and I love to fly so the jumps should be easy. How much fun would that be to try this together?<br/><br/>I think because I was abandoned in a box, I need a security blanket so I love to snuggle beside by foster siblings. They let me snuggle with them when they are chilled on their dog beds, so to make sure I always feel safe and secure, the best family for me must have a calm dog that will let me snuggle with. And I love to play - well my version as I run with the dogs but with my bigger siblings, because I am so small I just grab they legs or at least try to!<br/><br/>If you think you are the family for me, and I know lots of people will, fill out an application and then I can decide who I think is the perfect fit for me.
