Sol's Story

SOL - F / 2 years / Feist mix / 45 lbs

Sol means ‘sun’ in Spanish, and that’s a perfect description of this lovely girl!

Sol was rescued from street life by a wonderful woman who fed her, got her medical treatment, and gave her lots of love. She’s so sweet—she loves people, gets along well with other dogs after a proper introduction, and has learned that she really enjoys playing with toys (though she has a penchant for biting the tails off of stuffies!).

Sol’s ideal family will give her daily walks and exercise and include her in their activities. She needs a secure yard (because squirrels!) and a dog pal—she’s besties with Guero and we’d love to see them adopted together, but Sol would also be fine with an existing dog in the home. Sol is good with kids of all ages but will need a home without cats.

Sol can be on a flight once an adopter is found. If you’re interested in making Sol part of your family, please complete an application. Her adoption fee is $600 to cover her vetting and travel costs.
