Sofie Labrador Retriever Mix Springfield, MO

Hi there! My name is Sofie. I am a three year old 65 pound Labrador retriever mix. My doctor lists my color as "white and ticked,"which just means I'm mostly white with big brown, black and gray spots all over. Who knows? Maybe I'm part Akita or St. Bernard? Rescue One found me chained to a tree. I had been living there for most of my life. My living situation must have been awful because I was very smelly and terrified of everything. But my foster mom took me to Maggie's for a bath and spent some time loving and caring for me, and now I'm a real dog again! I don't like loud noises or anything surprising - it makes me run away. But I do love to snuggle - a LOT. If you need someone to love you - I'm a professional. I can make you feel like a million bucks every day! I like playing with other dogs but I'm not super great with cats. I can learn, though, and I live just fine with my current foster mom's cat. I know all my basic commands and I obey nicely whenever asked - unless I think you're going to hurt me. I love to go on walks and rides in the car, I know how to use a crate, and I'm perfectly potty trained. My foster mom thinks I'm super sweet and that I'll make a great companion for almost any home. I haven't been kid tested, but she thinks I'll be great with kids of any size. If you have a kind heart and relaxed home, I would to meet you.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
