His growth from a feral, frightened pup to a dog who loves life and people has been an incredible. He is one happy guy who loves to play with other dogs (his best friend is a 10# Chiweenie), chomp on bones, toss stuffed toys to himself, and snooze in the sun. Did we mention, he loves pets from his foster mom and rewards her with lots of kisses. He still has a look before you leap personality, but his sweet, curious side always wins out over his timid side. Sodapop has also taken quickly to house training and sleeps quietly through the night in a crate. They were all wary of humans and appeared to have limited familiarity with them. The family was taken in to the local shelter, and the mom and smallest sibling were adopted quickly. The other 4 made it to TBL where they are now getting socialized and waiting patiently for their forever homes. Sodapop is about 8 months old, and is the most outgoing of the three brothers. Sodapop can still be timid with new people, but has warmed up during interactions with volunteers and shows signs of playfulness and a fun personality when he gets comfortable. Sodapop will be a loving and easy-going companion for the right people, and he does well with other dogs. Sodapop has a deformed left front leg, and is a tripod as a result, but it doesn't slow him down any.
