Soda Float's Story

Soda Float is the ultimate sweet treat for anyone who gets indecisive about the dessert menu!
Love a white dog but can't resist a brindle coat? How about a sweet swirl of vanilla bean and chocolate chip?
Pointy ears or floppy ears? Soda Float has one of each!
Big dog or little dog? She's the perfect pocket-sized pooch!
Snuggle buddy or running partner? Soda Float will happily do either (or both!), as long as she's by by your side.

Soda Float is 3 years old, 35 pounds, and full of gentle charm. With heart full of love and a deep appreciation for belly rubs, this sweet soul just wants to be near her people. Found as a stray and brought to the NYC municipal shelter, Soda Float has shown nothing but warmth and affection in her foster home. She lives for cuddles and will happily snooze next to you on the couch because her favorite place is right by your side. Want to play? She's ready with a toy in her mouth and a tail wag just for you.

Soda Float has learned so much since coming into foster care! After being in the scary shelter, she would much prefer to be near her people than locked in a cage, but her foster parents are helping her learn that her crate is a safe, warm, cozy place. Now fully potty trained, she happily sleeps through the night in her bed. She's also mastered basic cues like sit, stay, touch, come, leave it, drop it, wait, and touch; now she's working on a few just for fun, like "high five" and "spinnies!" Soda Float loves to learn and with her impressive hops, she might be a great agility dog!

Age: 3 years
Weight: 35 lbs
Likes: Belly rubs, puzzle toys, and baby carrots
Dislikes: Rats (but who can blame her?)
Demeanor: Sweet, cuddly, gentle, loyal, playful, mellow
Dreams: A forever home that values affection, routine, and quality cuddle time
