Socks's Story

Socks - no doubt so named for his paws, came in as a stray from animal control. He was found by a senior couple who kept him for about a week and found him to be housebroken and friendly. So far, he has been so sad but still a model guest and is excited about meeting all the new faces. He currently weighs around 70 lbs. and is estimated to be around 5 years old. He also seems to be OK with some of the other dogs but a meet and greet would be arranged if there was interest in adding Socks to a home with another dog. His temporary foster parents came to visit him and hope that others will see what a nice dog he is. More handsome in person than the camera reveals, this hunk is waiting to meet you.

You can visit the dogs from noon - 3 pm Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise by appointment. We always recommend submitting an application (and a copy of recent vet records for your current pets if applicable) to info@aradopt.org.

Link to application: https://www.angelridgeanimalrescue.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Dog-Application.pdf
