Socks

Socks is a delightful, friendly boy. His photos do not do him justice. He looks like a sad sack when in reality, Socks - no doubt so named for his paws, came in as a stray from animal control. He was found by a senior couple who kept him for about a week and found him to be housebroken and friendly. Socks had the chance to enjoy a week-long experience of family life in a foster home with a volunteer and her kids and did beautifully.<br/><br/>He is still excited about meeting new people and taking THEM for a walk. For anyone interested in meeting Socks, he is interviewing potential adopters weekends between noon and 3 pm or by appointment. He currently weighs around 70 lbs. and is estimated to be around 5 years old. He has been to an offsite event where he met a variety of people and their dogs and also seems to like some of the other dogs he is housing with, but a meet and greet would be arranged if there was interest in adding Socks to a home with another dog.
