Meet Soba! <br/>Soba is a 5-month-old Lab mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit to match! Weighing in at around 30 pounds, she's growing into a happy, energetic pup who's ready to take on the world-preferably with a new best friend by her side.<br/>This sweet girl is incredibly dog-friendly and absolutely loves making new friends, both canine and human. Whether it's playtime in the yard or greeting new people with a wagging tail, Soba's joyful personality shines through in everything she does. She hasn't been officially cat-tested yet, but that can be arranged if needed.<br/>As a young puppy, Soba is still learning the ropes and will need a family committed to continuing her training and providing guidance as she grows. With consistency, patience, and lots of positive reinforcement, she's sure to blossom into a well-mannered and devoted companion.<br/>Soba's journey hasn't always been easy-she was found as a stray and brought into a local shelter before making her way to CARE, where she's now getting the second chance she deserves. Despite her rough start, she remains full of love, trust, and excitement for the future.<br/>If you're looking for a fun-loving, social, and affectionate pup to add to your family, Soba might just be your perfect match. Come meet her and see if she steals your heart! <br/><br/>Soba is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $300.<br/><br/>Soba is in the Paws in Prison program, where she receives basic obedience training. She will graduate from Paws in Prison on 5/30/2026. The dogs in this program are provided basic level training under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. So, there will be an adjustment period as they adjust to their new family schedule.<br/><br/>For this reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive his training journal.
