Snugglebuggy's Story
Snugglebuggy A181942
40 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old

-He started off by exploring the room confidently, coming to me frequently for attention
-He likes pets and giving kisses
-He absolutely was confused with having a bandana on and couldn't focus on anything but "whatever" was around his neck 😂
-He is treat motivated, sits and takes them nicely
-Toys intrigue him, but he's not sure what to think about them or what to do
-In typical puppy fashion he doesn't stay put too long. Although he's active he doesn't have crazy puppy energy!
-Walks decent on leash for the most part. Sometimes pulling, other times not. He checked in with me often and was rewarded with a treat and then pulled less. He's smart and just needs some guidance!
-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be!
-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros

Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids

*Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt

*Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment.

*Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in.

*There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption.

*To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering.

**And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.**

*The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30

**1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
