Snowball's Story

Meet Snowball, a 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing approximately 10 pounds who is looking for a very special forever home. Snowball was rescued from a large hoarding situation and arrived at A Forever Home Animal Rescue scared, unsocialized, and unsure of the world around him. While he has made progress since being rescued, he remains a very timid dog who is still learning to trust people and feel safe.

Snowball is not the type of dog who will immediately run into your arms or eagerly greet strangers. Building a relationship with him takes time, patience, and understanding. He needs an adopter who will allow him to move at his own pace and celebrate the small victories along the way. For the right person, helping Snowball gain confidence and learn what it means to be loved will be an incredibly rewarding experience.

In addition to his shy nature, Snowball has a seizure disorder that is being managed with daily medication. The good news is that his treatment has been working well, and he has not experienced a seizure in several months. His future family will need to continue his medication regimen and provide the stability and care he needs to thrive.

Because Snowball is still fearful of new people, multiple visits will be required for anyone interested in adopting him. This will allow him to become familiar with you, build trust, and develop a relationship before transitioning into his new home.

Snowball's adoption donation is $300, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, and microchip. He is heartworm-negative and on monthly prevention to keep him healthy and happy.

If you're interested in making Snowball a part of your family and giving him the loving home he has never had, please visit https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information.html to learn more and submit an application.

Snowball may not be the easiest dog to adopt, but he is certainly one of the most deserving. He has spent his entire life learning how to survive. Now he needs someone willing to teach him how to be loved.
https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/store/p239/Snowball.html
We are only able to adopt within the state of Florida.
