Snow's Story

Meet Snow- A bright, beautiful, petite (43 lbs) Husky who has blossomed with training! 🌟 Snow’s journey hasn’t been easy. She twice landed on the euthanasia list at the shelter, scared and overwhelmed by the chaotic environment. But beneath that stress was a young, silly, intelligent Husky just waiting for the right chance.

She’s overall quiet and mellow but she has moments where she will get excited and vocalize. She listens well and calms quickly with a firm command from her human. Her medium energy means that one 45 min. daily walk is usually sufficient to keep her content.

Snow is great on car rides and on a leash! She’s non-reactive to other dogs that pass by. She can coexist with other dogs and has done pretty well at dog parks in the past but can occasionally be snippy with other dogs in the home so we are recommending that she be your one and only fur baby. Cats are a little bit too enticing.

Snow is affectionate, goofy, and full of that signature Husky charm. She loves being part of the action and is happiest when she has both mental and physical outlets. She’s playful but not hyper, and she enjoys calmer dogs with polite social skills. Her playstyle is gentle and dainty, and she’s perfectly content hanging out and observing when things get too rowdy.

Snow would thrive in a home with:
A home that appreciates Husky quirks and smarts; consistent enrichment, exercise, and affection; and a home that listens to her body language, especially around her paws and tail. She has learned to trust and is eager to bond with her person. We require that any kids in the home be older (10+) and able to respect boundaries and personal space.

Snow is resilient, silly, smart, and ready for her fresh start. She has already come so far, and with the right person, she will continue blossoming into the incredible dog she was meant to be.
