Snoozie's Story

11 yr old Snoozie is in need of a new home sadly because her owners passed away. Snoozie is quiet and gentle with a reserved and shy disposition. She also has a soft, sweet, and sometimes silly side to her. Snoozie has so far gotten along well with other dogs, unless there is food involved, which she prefers to do alone. She enjoys her walks and having lots of time to sniff and explore in the backyard. She will run after a squirrel or other small critters if they cross her path outside but has so far done well around a mild-mannered house cat.

Snoozie is slow to warm up to new people and would do best in a quieter household that can match her pace and give her time to acclimate to her new environment. She likes her space and enjoys both her crate and dog bed alike. Snoozie does well with a patient and gentle approach and tolerates getting her eyes wiped daily and her ears cleaned regularly.

Overall, Snoozie is a soft and sweet girl, looking for her forever home with someone who will enjoy to stop and smell the roses.”

If you are interested in meeting her, please visit our website and submit an adoption application today!

https://www.seniordogsanctuary.com/adoption-application.html

Senior Dog Sanctuary of Maryland's Adoption Policy
Why adopt a Senior Dog? Experienced, housebroken, settled down, loving and lovable, good with children, excellent company, non-judgemental - we could go on but you get the picture. Exceptions to everything listed? Sure, but all in all an experience you will never regret. First, come visit the dogs that interest you; we are open, by appointment, every day of the week from 10-3. Then complete our Adoption Application, which asks for personal references, your animals' Vet, information about your home environment and your agreement to allow us to do a home visit. Once approved, we will do a meet and greet with your family - including your four-legged family members. If all goes well, you welcome your pup into your home and your heart and you all become members of our extended Senior Dog Sanctuary family!
