Meet Snoop!<br/><br/>Age or date of birth: 2 years<br/><br/>Activity level: High, but can also be a couch potato<br/><br/>Things I do in my free time: I love to snuggle, chew on toys, show off my toys by walking around with them in my mouth and play with sticks in the yard.<br/><br/>Things I know: Sit, stay, kennel<br/><br/>Things I am learning/currently working on: Respecting boundaries, I tend to think I am smaller than I am and I can fit on everyone's lap, not jumping, being a better listener, including not barking (I tend to bark when anyone in near my home and something I think I need to continue even though the coast is clear).<br/><br/>Who I currently live with (humans and animals): 2 adults, 2 kids (1 year old & 13 year old) and one male dog.<br/><br/>How I do with kids: I love kids! Even though I love my 1 year old human I currently live with, something I step on them on accident because I do not realize my size, but I make up for it in kisses if I can sneak them in. I love hanging out with the 13 year old I live with, and it would be an extra bonus if my new family also had bigger kids to play and cuddle with me. (*Picture with infant, he has always been supervised and never left alone with child.)<br/><br/>How I do with dogs: I have a lot of energy and sometimes my housemate dog friend I live with can get annoyed because I do not understand social cues and I tend to not let the other dog engage with humans without me being involved. I would do well as an only dog, but would also enjoy a companion if I had some more training to work on boundaries.<br/><br/>How I do with cats: I have not been around a cat, but am very prey driven so a home without small animals would be best.<br/><br/>My current size: approximately 60 pounds<br/><br/>How I do in my kennel: My kennel is not my favorite place as I prefer to be with my humans, but I do go in there while the humans are away and for sleeping at night.<br/><br/>How I do in car rides: I do okay in the car, I just prefer to be as closet to you as possible.<br/><br/>Am I house trained: Yes, but I need to be let out right after I eat or sometimes I cannot hold it.<br/><br/>Additional info from foster: Snoop is a good dog who just needs a family that can be patient and work with him through his quirks and who is willing to invest time and training for him. Snoop is very unsure about new people and can take a bit to warm up, especially men. He will need someone who can work with him on being more confident around people he does not know and who is willing to responsibly manage such situations for everyone's safety and comfort.<br/><br/>Snoop prefers to be with people over anything! He enjoys being outside if you are with him and if sticks are involved, but he can be an escape artist if given the opportunity, though he has always stayed close if he has managed to find a way out (and never been left for long).<br/><br/>Snoop is very food motivated and is a very good floor cleaner if you have messy eaters! Snoop loves his toys, especially if they are filled with peanut butter and kibble. Snoop enjoys walks but needs to be on a gentle leader so he does not pull.
