Snoop's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Snoop is a soulful and goofy five-year-old Lab/Heeler blend who is searching for a fresh start. Having been with the same owner since he was just a young puppy, they made the difficult decision to relinquish him due to a change in daily living circumstances. While the adjustment to a new environment can be difficult for dogs like Snoop, his resilient spirit is already starting to show. We know that as soon as he settles into a stable, loving home, he will thrive and return to being the happy, confident dog he’s truly meant to be.<br/>Snoop has been known to be a social butterfly who loves being outdoors and craves attention from his people. He isn’t the type of dog to sit on the sidelines; he truly just wants to be part of the action, whether that’s a backyard BBQ or a family stroll. He is an excellent companion for a variety of households, as his previous owners said he gets along well with other large canine friends, is cat-friendly (he may chase cats if they run...), and is wonderful with children. Snoop is also quite the trickster and is very eager to show off his skills including 'sit,' 'lay down,' 'shake,' and 'roll over.'<br/>Because Snoop has a natural zest for life and a love for movement, his previous family believes he would do best in a home where he has plenty of room to run, play, and express his goofy personality. A home with a fenced-in yard would be the perfect setting for him to play safely. Snoop is already neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all of his vaccinations. He is currently waiting for his final wellness vet appointment on January 7th, after which he will be fully cleared and ready to head off on his next great adventure. If you have a place in your heart and your yard for this devoted boy, Snoop is ready to meet you!<br/>Please complete an online adoption application as the first step of the meet & greet process. This application can be found on our website at www.wesavepets.com. Once the application has been submitted, a Safe Haven volunteer will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
