SNICKERS (NEW PROFILE INFO)'s Story
Snickers has been with us for nearly six months, after coming in at the end of July severely malnourished and running loose. A long five‑month court case meant we had to hold her until custody was finalized — but now she’s finally free to start the life she deserves.

At about 2 years old, this beautiful husky mix has blossomed into a happy, playful, affectionate girl. She loves walks, greeting other dogs, and exploring with fresh excitement. When she gets really thrilled — squirrels, dog friends, surprises — she pops up on her back legs and walks like a little person, showing off her goofy charm.

Snickers will thrive in a home that enjoys daily walks and outdoor fun, but also offers the calm, loving reassurance she needs after everything she’s been through. Her brother Snow is also available, and while we’d love to see them adopted together, we recommend Snickers join a home with at least one other dog she can socialize and bond with.

After all she’s endured, Snickers is ready for a home filled with kindness and stability. She has so much love to give — she just needs someone to choose her.

Online Dog Adoption Forms: : https://wacshelter.com/adopt-a-dog/
Website for general questions: www.wacshelter.com
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/wacshelter/
Email: wacvolunteers@gmail.com

** Be sure to check out our FACEBOOK page for day to day updates on our
cats and dogs.

Canine adoption fee includes:
Spay/neuter
Age appropriate vaccinations
Deworming
Flea prevention (if required)
Heartworm screening/monthly prevention

** Volunteer dog walkers work with our dogs 7 days a week.
