Snickerdoodle, Nik for short, is ready to find her forever home! This sweet 1-year-old terrier mix is under 25 lbs and full of love! Snickerdoodle is a cuddly little girl who loves attention and snuggles. She's not a fan of crates, but she does great when left in a gated area. One of her ears stands up all the time, one of the many things that make her extra cute! She loves chewy toys and can spend forever chewing away 😊. She is good with other dogs with proper meetings, cats, and warms up to people pretty quickly with proper introduction. She likes to try to be in charge and sassy at first, but then is fine. Snickerdoodle would love a playful doggy friend and a fenced yard to run around in. She's the perfect mix of fun and affection--ready to be your best friend and your favorite couch buddy. PAWS of Adams County's Adoption Policy

You can find an adoption application on our website or a link below. You must have a good scoring with your veterinarian to adopt. Make sure all of your references know as well as your veterinarian that we will be calling. AN APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED OUT BEFORE A MEET AND GREET! Without a doubt, when you adopt a rescue dog, puppy, cat or kitten will put an instant smile on your face and you gain a wonderful companion! Once you fill out an application one of our application specialists will contact you as soon as possible. All of our dogs and puppies will be updated on their normal vetting including vaccines, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and heartworm tested, as well as on a heartworm preventative, before adoption. They all live in foster homes and have been socialized with work on crate training, potty training and trust (if needed).
