Smudge

Smudge has made wonderful progress in foster care. When he first left the shelter, car rides were stressful, but now he loves riding in the truck and happily responds to "load up." He knows several commands including sit, stay, wait, down, crate, up, and off, and is doing well with recall. He also understands potty cues like "go pee" and waits politely at doors until given permission to go in or out.<br/><br/>Smudge is crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night. He's a low-energy, couch-loving boy who enjoys being close to his person--often curled up beside (or under a blanket!). He's a true "Velcro dog" who thrives on human affection and companionship.<br/><br/>He no longer jumps on people, is eager to learn, and picks up new skills quickly.
