MEET SMORE! STATS: 5 years old, neutered, American Staffy Mix, 60 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: While I know how to have fun and run around with my dog friends, deep down I am such a couch potato! If you are a homebody or someone that is interested in leisurely walks and enjoying the sunshine outside, you might be just my speed! If there is a dog bed or couch to occupy, you can bet I am laying there! I am super affectionate and love to be close to my people! WHAT I LOVE: I love playing with toys from the comfort of my bed, cuddling up to my human friends, and playing outside. While my zoomies might be short lived, that is one of the best things about me - I am not going to beg you for constant exercise or 10-mile hikes, but I MIGHT beg you to share your sandwich! KIDS: I have met children at YCAS events and absolutely LOVE them! They seem to love me a lot, too! OTHER DOGS: I'm dog-friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs! I go to playgroup here at the shelter! CATS: While I haven't been formally tested with cats, I have visited kitties here at the shelter and seemed to like them a lot! Slow introductions are always recommended, but I am a pretty chill and gentle guy! HIS MATCH: I would be the perfect match for someone who needs a partner to binge watch an entire series on Netflix! I would do well with a dog sibling or as the only dog in the home, I just want someone to love! SPECIAL NOTE: My smile lights up every room - I am just THAT handsome! Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
