He came from OH when there was a life style change that was not best for him. <br/>Smokey is friendly and happy to see anyone that will pay attention to him. <br/>When he was a puppy, he fell off the bed and injured his hip and had to have his hip ball removed but that does not affect him in any way. The surgery is called a Femoral Head Osteotomy and it was on the right hip. Please do not let that stop you from adopting him because that would be your loss.<br/>In his picture he looks a little ragged but we are getting him groomed very soon for his new foster home, could that be you?<br/>If you are looking for more info on Smokey or interested in adopting him then please apply online.<br/><br/>Our must haves for him are:<br/> a fenced in yard<br/> another young small dog to pal around with<br/> no apartments, high rises or condo's please<br/><br/><br/>============== Information for All Dogs/Adopters ==============<br/>AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime.
