His overnight foster reports he’s potty trained and loves his crate, making him an easy house guest.<br/><br/>Smokey adores walks, belly rubs, tug-of-war, and proudly carrying a stuffy like it’s his badge of honor. After playtime, he’s an expert cuddler who melts into you with full-body affection. He’s also calm in the car and lovey-dovey with every person he meets.<br/><br/>A dog meet & greet at the shelter is needed, but with people? Smokey is an instant, heart-stealing favorite. After 6 months in the shelter, this golden-hearted old man urgently needs a foster or adopter to show him what real golden years look like.<br/><br/>All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in.
