hi Smokey,<br/><br/>This good boy is a 4-year-old mix. He was brought to our local animal control by his owners when they could no longer keep him. They suspected that he is a sheep dog / husky mix. He is 57 lbs.<br/><br/>In our care, Smokey was quickly adopted but sadly returned after 6 months when the owner's health took a turn for the worse and they could no longer care for him. <br/> <br/>Smokey is a very good boy. His owners reported that he walks on the leash nicely (we can confirm!), is energetic, happy and loves toys. He knows his name and the commands Sit, Lay down. He enjoys chewing on bones, exploring outdoors, going to the dog park, and running/jogging. Per the owners, he loves kids and other dogs but would prefer a home with no cats. With us at the rescue, he has been great!
