Smitty

Smitty is a fun loving 16 month old pit mix who spent more than 6 months at a shelter after being abandoned by his humans. He was such an amazing dog, we took him in as a foster because he deserved the best in life.<br/><br/>He is a high energy, fun, and loving dog that is EXTREMELY SMART. He knows sit, down, high five and wait/stay and place although it’s hard for him to sit still with so much new stuff to do and explore. He is working on his leash manners and is crate trained. He loves to play, and loves to cuddle. He will smell EVERYTHING. <br/><br/>Smitty needs an active and dog savvy owner who can handle his energy and give him structure. He would do best in a home with another dog - preferably female (he's a ladies man). He's also good with cats. <br/><br/>Smitty loves humans after proper introductions that involves lots of treats. He is reactive around people he doesn't know, but warms up fast. Once you are in his circle, he will smother you with kisses whether you want them or not. He also does best with children over 10, as his high energy can knock over smaller ones. <br/><br/>He is an amazing dog who deserves an awesome forever home.
