SMILEY

Smiley's jog a dog on 3/202026: Smiley is energetic, playful, affectionate confident, explorer, enjoys being petted, did not mind being picked up. It took him a few minutes to settle down in the car on the way to the park, but he was much better on his way back to the shelter after releasing his energy. He likes to be active and likes his toys and treats. The only time he growled (no barking) was when a small dog tried to run toward Smiley while walking the opposite direction on the trail. The small dog was barking and growling non stop toward Smiley. Smiley let out a short growl but was easily redirected to continue our walk and he went about his way. He also observed some geese fly off and momentarily tried to run behind the but again was easily redirected We went on a two mile jog/walk along the river and Smiley was full of energy. He liked to stop and take breaks to smell his surroundings. We went to an empty dog park where we played fetch for several minutes. We made a few stops for water and treat breaks along the way. Smiley seems to know his “sit” command and would probably be easily trained.
