Slim Jim

Slim Jim is a young Labrador Retriever mix who loves to play fetch! His favorite high value treat is string cheese. Slim Jim is a shy boy who will benefit from a human partner who has time to work with him on leash training and other skills that will help him enjoy his interactions with humans. He is very smart and picked up "fetch" with a different volunteer pretty quickly after being introduced by the staff member with whom he was already bonded. Slim Jim is generally a quiet boy in his kennel who, like many of his shelter buddies, literally comes alive when outside with a playmate.This animal is at the City of Chico Animal Shelter.
