Sleepy's Story
If interested, please contact the foster home. Petfinder Profiles doesn’t always work.

Sleepy is 4-5 months old. She is a female Blue heeler mix. Her favorite past times are eating and being held like a baby. She likes to snuggle and run around on his adorable little feet. They like to run after toys but that is pretty much as far as it goes right now seeing as the toys are so much bigger than them. These are happy go lucky babies who are super sweet and loving.

They have not started crate training so they will need to be introduced to that in order to ensure they don’t chew inappropriate items when left unattended. In fact they are so young all the new things need to be introduced to them (vacuum, stairs, alarm clocks, recliner as it reclines, etc etc ). Each new thing should be introduced in a fun and positive manner so your puppy can see the fun in everything and keep his adventurous spirit.

They are too young to have been exposed to other dogs. They have had their first set of puppy shots but we like to air on the side of caution. Each puppy will need a new home that makes sure the rest of the current fur babies living there are approachable and friendly. Puppy socialization classes are going to be a great way to ensure a sparkling outgoing dog friendly personality. Please consider that before applying for adoption.

The ideal homes for these babies will be ready and willing to do all positive reinforcement training (Potty training, leash training and obedience training) so they each can grow up to be the best cowdog she can be. If you love dogs and building a relationship through training, this pup may be for you!

We know he is adorable, but all puppies are cute! You'll need to have a lifestyle to accommodate an energetic, intelligent, playful puppy! The pup will to be to date on age-appropriate medical care, including microchip, and will be placed with a spay/neuter contract.

Puppies will be available for meet and greets in Riverside, RI email - Kctracy1@yahoo.com with any questions.

Complete an Application:

https://www.acdra.org/adoption-application
