Skyy's Story

Skyy is a 5 year odl Lab mix girl that weighs 66 pounds and was surrendered due to her owner's health issues.

Skyy could stand to lose some weight but has some joint issues making it difficult for her to do too much exercise. However, she will surprise you with moments of friskiness and will zip around and toss up her toys. She LOVES a good stuffie.

Skyy also has some sensitivity on her sides and ribs so does not always want you petting her in this area. For this reason, we feel she should not be around small children (like toddlers who may not understand how to be gentle) but she does love it when kids visit as she is used to being around them. She also does great around other dogs and cats.

Skyy is more of a lounger and is content to lay on comfy bed (or even the couch as she still managed to make her way up there when in foster care during the snow days:) When it's cold or wet outside, she will do her business and come right back inside to chill. but she does enjoy short walks and outtings and often gets to visit our friends at Petco. She does great in a car but may need a ramp or assistance to get inside a tall car.

We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m but are doing meet & greets and adoptions by appointment only.

The adoption fee is $135 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.

If you are interested in this pet, please fill out our ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://bit.ly/3HN4Tqq

Visit our website at www.PetPlacementCenter.com
