Skylar is a 5-year-old, 51-pound mixed-breed sweetheart with a gentle nature, a playful spirit, and a smile that's sure to brighten your day.<br/><br/>Skylar has quickly become a volunteer favorite thanks to her affectionate, easygoing personality. She has absolutely no concept of personal space-in the best possible way! She'll happily climb into your lap for cuddles, roll over for belly rubs, and soak up all the attention you're willing to give. She also has a curious side and recently became completely fascinated by our robot lawn mower, making everyone laugh as she tried to figure out what this strange little machine was doing.<br/><br/>While Skylar has a calm, loving side, she also enjoys having fun. She loves outdoor playtime, enthusiastically joins in a game of tug, happily chases toys, and occasionally gets the cutest little bursts of excitement on walks. She walks nicely on leash overall and, while she occasionally gets excited, she settles back in nicely. Like many dogs, Skylar is happiest when she isn't surrounded by large, hectic crowds, where her sweet personality really shines. You may notice one of Skylar's ears looks a little different. It's the result of an old ear hematoma that has healed and doesn't bother her at all.
