She is a happy, wiggly, and friendly pup that wants to be friends with everyone she meets! People usually comment on how beautiful she is and how her fur is velvety soft. She's housetrained, loves going for long walks, and walks very well on a leash. She responds well to training and is eager to learn although she really just wants to snuggle on the couch and get endless pets. <br/><br/>Skylar is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night and when her foster parents go to work. She can quickly get over-excited when playing so a more laid-back dog that is tolerant of her puppy-like tendencies might be a good fit or she would be happy as your one-and-only so she can have you all to herself. We recommend slow introductions so new pets can get properly acquainted. <br/><br/>Skylar likes to be left alone when she's eating and prefers not to share her toys so a home with older children is required. <br/><br/>Skylar is a super-sweet pup and would make a lovely addition to an active home with some dog experience and willingness to keep up with her training. <br/><br/>Skylar is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations, house trained and microchipped.<br/><br/>To adopt Skylar, please complete our online dog application by going to sheltersurvivors.com Click on the home page, look for "Application" at the top of the home page, and complete the application.
