She and her brother Rocky came into our program from an under-resourced animal shelter in rural Mississippi. <br/><br/>Skylar is an absolute spitfire - brimming with confidence and personality. She is incredibly smart and picks up on commands/tricks very quickly. She has already learned how to 'sit' and 'spin'. Skylar is brave and will follow you anywhere - she is willing to do anything you are. Skylar is not afraid of rain or water. She has never met a stranger and loves everyone. <br/><br/>She is doing well with potty training and will try to alert you by going to the door if she needs to go outside (though, please DO NOT expect her to be house trained in any way, she is a puppy). She is doing well with crate training and is sleeping at least halfway through the night currently at 9 weeks old. Skylar is fostered inside a home in a family environment with children and other dogs. <br/><br/>Skylar is an active, smart puppy who would not do well in a home with long alone hours. <br/><br/>Skylar is currently located in Lucedale, MS and is available to be transported up north the weekend of August 16th to the following locations: Wytheville, VA<br/>Hagerstown, MD Harrisburg, PA Allentown, PA Oakland, NJ Newburgh, NY Enfield, CT Brattleboro, VT Albany, NY. <br/><br/>Skylar will arrive to you with 3 sets of DAPPV vaccinations, Bordetella vaccine and rabies. She will be spayed, microchipped, up to date on flea/heartworm preventative and have been dewormed.
