SKYE's Story

The Skye is truly the limit when it comes to how much love you can pour into a dog—and Skye proves it every single day. This gorgeous 52-pound, 2-year-old lady has been at the shelter a bit longer than the rest, and frankly, she’s starting to wonder if she accidentally turned invisible. Skye is the kind of dog who brings a special sort of charm—what we like to call “quaint company.” She’s the perfect mix of sweet, silly, and soulful. She’ll keep you entertained with her adorable quirks if you know when to look for them. The closer you look, the cooler this dog unravels her personality. She’s been waiting patiently for someone who understands her gentle, unique vibe... preferably someone who appreciates a dog who thinks she’s both a princess and a dry comedian. Skye deserves her big break—and her big comfy couch. Come meet her and see for yourself: when it comes to love, the Skye really is the limit! Skye’s adoption fee has been paid for by a volunteer. She is spayed and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply. Skye is currently resting in foster! If you would like to meet her, please contact New Hope at newhope@sfhumanesociety.org Thank you!
