Meet Skye! Skye is a 12yr old Chihuahua that came to our shelter as a stray. Skye came to our shelter with several masses that concerned us a great deal. After a successful surgery to remove them, they unfortunately they were found to be cancerous. Despite this, Skye is thriving after surgery and continues to enjoy everyday. She is a happy-go-lucky dog who loves laying in the sun, going for walks or just curling up under someone’s feet and getting belly rubs! Skye has communicated to us that she willing to consider a home with cats, as well as an easygoing dog of similar energy level (meet & greet necessary). Skye passed her behavioral evaluation with flying colors and would do fine in a home with understanding children! She will leave our shelter spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
