Skye has shown herself to be dog-friendly (hello, play bows!) and has done well with cats, too. She’s curious but respectful, and with proper introductions, she could happily coexist with a feline sibling. Basically, she’s got the personality of that one friend who gets along with everyone at the party.<br/><br/>With people, Skye is friendly and enthusiastic—sometimes a little too enthusiastic (we’re working on that whole “four-on-the-floor” greeting instead of launching herself like a fluffy rocket). Because of her playful energy, she’d do best with older or dog-savvy kiddos who understand that puppies are still learning their manners.<br/><br/>She’s doing great with house training when kept on a consistent schedule and is currently working on crate training. Like many puppies, she might protest her crate accommodations briefly, but she settles in nicely and even sleeps through the night… until about 6:30am, when she politely (or not-so-politely) lets you know it’s potty time. Think of her as your built-in sunrise alarm system—no snooze button included.<br/><br/>Skye walks well on leash for her age and is easily redirected, making her a wonderful candidate for continued leash training and outdoor adventures.
