Meet Skye!<br/><br/>Skye is a 4 year old, 46 pound Pit Mix with the funniest little personality. One minute she's calmly accepting treats and soaking up affection, and the next she's tearing around the yard in a burst of zoomies that seems to come out of nowhere.<br/><br/>This sweet girl has become a volunteer favorite thanks to her playful spirit and quirky habits. She loves treats, enjoys exploring, and has a special talent for entertaining herself. Give Skye a toy and there's a good chance she'll toss it into the air and chase after it all by herself. She's even been known to play fetch solo, throwing and catching her own toys like she's got everything handled.<br/><br/>Skye knows several commands including sit, down, and come, especially when snacks are involved. She's smart, eager to engage, and always willing to give new things a try, even if she doesn't quite understand the assignment right away. Whether she's learning a new skill, working on her leash manners, or investigating every corner of the yard, Skye approaches life with enthusiasm.<br/><br/>While she can be energetic and strong on leash, Skye also has a softer side. She enjoys affection, leans in for pets, and loves spending time with people she trusts. Shelter life can be stressful for her, and she would thrive in a calm, adult only home with an experienced adopter who can continue building her confidence.<br/><br/>Skye would like to be your one and only pet, but in return you'll get a dog who can make you laugh, keep you active, and brighten your day with her goofy antics and joyful zoomies.<br/><br/>*Reminder* We are currently facilitating adoptions through appointment only.
