Skye's Story

Skye is a classically beautiful sable collie. She is a happy and lively 18 months old, extremely well-behaved indoors and used to being adored - because she is adorable! Skye was surrendered due to an unexpected death in her family, and is a little confused about her sudden change in circumstances, but she is cheerful and loving in her foster home. She is happily playing with the other dogs in the family and with neighbor dogs, and is building her stamina on long woods hikes.
Skye is a cuddler and fully expects to sleep in the bed with her human family and snuggle on the sofa during TV time. She loves to eat - except fruit, nope, won't have anything to do with apples or bananas - and definitely wants a bite of whatever you're having, please! Skye is spayed, housebroken, good on a leash, and already trained for the basics (come, sit, shake). She is looking for an active forever family with another dog or doggie daycare to help burn off her young collie energy. Skye is an absolute sweetheart! If you are interested in rescuing a collie, please complete this short adoption questionnaire. Our standard adoption fee is $450. This fee helps us to cover (and sometimes only partially cover) the expense of providing each dog with a Health Exam, Rabies/DHPP vaccines, Heartworm Test, Heartworm Preventative, Flea & Tick Protection, Microchip, Neuter/Spay, a Bath and any other medical needs.

Thank you for your consideration in adopting a collie in need!!!
