2 year old Skye is resilient, stoic, and the best companion anyone could ask for. She’s such a sweet girl and is gaining more confidence every day! <br/> <br/>Skye is extremely loving and obedient for her people, so she will go where she is told. She loves kisses from her people. She knows how to sit and shake! She’s super food motivated. She is dog and cat friendly, and has been friendly to every person she’s met, more so once she gets to know them. She just needs to trust people before she fully lets them in and considering she just recently got out of the shelter, that’s to be expected. <br/><br/>She’s a little weary of strangers at first, she just needs love and a supportive voice to boost her confidence. Once she’s built up her confidence, she’ll be the perfect girl! <br/><br/>She is appropriately “protective” of her own in a way where you can sleep soundly, knowing that if anything were to happen, Skye would hear it first and let you know about it. She also loves to howl out of excitement when you first come home and when you feed her. She is not a vocal girl beyond a quiet hush if you don’t want her to be though.<br/><br/>She’s just been through a lot as she was surrendered to a very high kill shelter in Texas for unknown reasons and was terrified in there. We don't think her previous family was very nice to her. Every day, she does something new, her confidence is building, and her fosters have really enjoyed her company!
