Now Skye is looking forward instead of back—and she’s more than ready to find a family of her own.<br/><br/>At just over 50 pounds, Skye is petite for a German Shepherd, but she has all the intelligence, loyalty, and enthusiasm we love about the breed. She’s eager to please, learns quickly, and would thrive with someone who enjoys training and giving their dog structure and direction. She may still have a few rough edges when it comes to manners and basic commands, but underneath them is a really good girl who wants to get it right.<br/><br/>Skye also has plenty of energy for adventures. Our first step is an application. Upon application approval, all members of a household (including furry family members) will be invited to a meet and greet. Upon successful completion of the meet and greet, a home check will be performed. A nominal adoption fee is charged to cover vetting of the next animal in need.
