Full bio coming soon, but here’s what her previous foster had to say about her:

“Sky loves playing fetch, chasing balls and chewing on bones. She loves, but will shred, stuffed toys. She loves to be next to you, long couch naps and cuddles.
She’s fully crate trained and housebroken with wonderful manners and little to no barking. She knows sit, shake, down, drop it and stay (although some times the excitement is too much to stay for long!). She walks well on leash and is happy with short walks but able to keep up and has enjoyed longer ones too. She can be left alone for several hours outside of crate (max we have left her unattended was 4 hours with no issues but think she could go longer just fine).
She has done well with large dogs on a walk but has not been around small dogs, cats or small children with us.
She loves carrots, blueberries, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, frozen lick mats. Does not beg for human food.
Has been welcoming to strangers coming in the house.
She’s a gem!”

---

We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.

Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $500 which covers the costs of vetting (spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming and microchip) and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.
