At less than three months old, he was found abandoned at a construction site—alone, helpless, and suffering from a badly broken leg. Everything indicated he had been hit by a car weeks earlier and left without care.<br/><br/>Because of the severity of his injury, we had to wait anxiously for a full diagnosis, hoping that surgery might save his leg. The outcome was uncertain, and the possibility of amputation was very real.<br/><br/>But Sky is a fighter. After delicate surgery and careful recovery, the miracle happened—Sky kept his leg. The surgery was a success, and he exceeded every expectation. Today, he walks happily, uses his leg well, and shows no signs of the painful past he survived.<br/><br/>Despite everything he endured so early in life, Sky never lost his gentle spirit.
