Skittles's Story

Skittles was surrendered to a shelter we help, because she was part of an unwanted litter of puppies born in rural area we help in south Texas. We were able to save Skittles and her siblings, because one of our wonderful fosters brought them into her home. Skittles has been in our care since she was 6 weeks old, and she has now completed her veterinary care. We hope she’ll be adopted by someone who will always love her.

Skittles loves to play with any dog she meets, and she does well with cats too. She likes any pets she can get and is a social girl.

Skittles is almost house trained and is learning how to walk on a leash. She weighs 14 pounds, and she is 12 weeks old. She is likely a Terrier mix. Her mama only weighs 25 pounds, so we think Skittles will be a small to medium sized adult.

Skittles is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Skittles can arrive in Illinois on 1/31. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.

We respond to all inquiries.
