Skittles (5 lbs)

<p>Skittles has a very sad story.&nbsp; He is about 6 1/2 years old and weighs about 4.8 lbs closer to 5 maybe tops.&nbsp; He was found in a crate next to a dumpster.&nbsp; The person that found him couldn't keep so they felt it was best to take him to the shelter hoping someone would adopt him.&nbsp; He was so neglected his fur is a mess and his teeth where rotting out of his mouth. When he first arrived he was so scared to come into the house we think he was kept outside his whole life. He now loves being under the covers and sitting on a blanket of his own now with lots of TLC and good nutrition his fur is starting to look better each and every week.&nbsp; We had his teeth cleaned and a blood panel done to make sure he's all healthy and has gotten a clean bill of health.&nbsp; Are you looking for the most amazing little dog ever.&nbsp; He's a perfect companion that you can take anywhere.&nbsp; He's very social and loves everyone he meets and he's so quite you can take him to any store or restaurant and he will sit on a chair next to you and not make a sound as dogs, people skate boards go by.&nbsp; He would make a great therapy dog&nbsp; He's super sweet would make an ideal pet for someone living in an apartment because he hasn't even barked once or a nice senior that just wants companionship.&nbsp; He's a total lap dog and just wants to sit next to you.&nbsp; He's great with other little dogs and even small children.&nbsp; Now he just needs someone to cherish and spoil him for the rest of his life.&nbsp; Please won't you be that special person to show him that not all people are cruel.&nbsp; He's updated on all his shots, micorchipped and neutered.&nbsp; If interested in adopting him or fostering him please go to our web site at www.adoptmerescue.org and fill out our adoption or foster application.&nbsp;</p>
