Meet Skipper<br/>Breed: Pomeranian<br/>Birthday: 2/7/2024<br/>Skipper is a young Pomeranian with a big personality packed into a very small body. Like many little dogs, he has a stubborn streak, but he makes up for it with endless playfulness and charm. Once he discovered what treats are, he quickly learned that dancing is a great way to earn them, and he proudly shows off his moves whenever snacks might be involved.<br/>Skipper is a happy little guy who is still learning the basics, including what “quiet time” means. He is curious, energetic, and loves to be involved in whatever his people are doing. One thing he is absolutely certain about is that other dogs are fantastic. He thrives around playful canine friends, so a home with another friendly dog would be a big bonus for him.<br/>Because Skipper has not quite mastered walking on a leash yet, he will need a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run, explore, and burn off his energy safely while he continues to learn. When you pick him up, brush him, or give him a bath, he becomes a full wiggle machine, so a confident grip and a patient handler are important.<br/>True to his curious nature, Skipper tends to stay very close to his people and will often end up right under your feet. Because of his tiny size and busy little personality, he would do best in a home without small children.<br/>Skipper is looking for a home that will continue helping him learn the ropes while giving him plenty of playtime, companionship, and patience.
